IT Project Manager

It was a number of years ago, the Leatherman Crunch was just released. I knew I had to have one. It showed up in my Christmas stocking that year. One of my lead technicians had just demonstrated how a pair of vice grips made moving live network switches in a rack a one man job out of one that previously required two.

Late one Friday a switch failed. All of my techs had gone home. Me, being the boss, had to handle the replacement by myself. The tool boxes were miles away. The Leatherman Crunch on my belt gave me the extra locking grip I needed and turned an hour or more of network down time into minutes.
