Emergency Room Equipment

As an ER nurse for 30 years, I've always carried my Leatherman as a vital piece of medical equipment. Folks I work with kid around and give me a hard time about carrying it until they need it to remove a fishhook, or a ring that's been crushed on a finger (or other body parts I cannot mention). I've used it to repair IV poles, cardiac monitors, etc. It's been sterilized more times than I can remember. I don't know what I'd do without it.
