Hi, first of all, a very sincerely congratulation for developing such remarkable multi tool like the Leatherman Wave, I'm a Civil Engineering, the first Wave I had, was a gift from my parents, about 12 years ago, it went true a lot of abuse and finally the pliers tip broke, very sad about it, so I send my Wave to you and received a brand new Wave (new model), very impressed about it, that Wave had a long time of abuse and hard work, till I lost it trying to make a Construction Grader start, so I had to buy a new one, about 4 years later trying to make the same construction grader work, the mechanic found my Wave, inside the engine compartment, how he loved to borrow my Wave, I had to give him the one he had found. About a year ago my wife gave me a brand new Wave, sins mine, was already worn out, so I had to retire my old Wave and start using my new one, that immediately I broke the tip of the Clip Point Knife and the tip of the can opener, you should seen My Wife's face, when she saw the brand new tool she had gave me broken, so I did some researched and remember that Leatherman warrants there tools for at least 25 year, I send them my worn out Wave and my brand new Wave an received two new Leatherman Wave Tools, for what I'm very pleased with. Some of my friends have had other brand multi tools and I've heard that there tool are not what they were expecting, so I tell them my story and most of them now use a Wave.
