I have been in Fire/EMS work for 30 years. For somewhere close to 23 years I have carried a Leatherman. I have said for years, "if it wasn't invented by a firefighter, it should have been". I have both a standard 1st edition tool and a Super Tool. Both have got me out of a number of jams over the years and have seen some very rough service. After years of rough service I had broken the blades on the knives and twisted a couple of screw driver bits. I recently was able to send both tools in for repairs. Though I did not get my original tools back, they sent me two refurbished tools in excellent condition. The best part.... I got the tools before the Post Office could get the reciept saying the tools had arrived in Portland back to me. Not only do these People make a Great Tool... They back it with Superior Service.
