i just bought myself my first leatherman ever, which was the leatherman WAVE about a week ago. In fact I just knew about multitools in general only about a week before that. This incident happened a couple of nights ago while on a date with my girlfriend. So we were walking around the mall with my arm over her shoulder. As we were walking something caught her attention and she suddenly stopped in her tracks. Unfortunately I was caught by surprise and didn't stop in time. As a result, one of my fingers got stuck on her necklace and ripped it apart. btw it was one of those 1mm chainlink necklaces that's impossible to put back together by hand. she wasn't happy when that happened to say the least, but luckily I had my WAVE with me and the needlenose pliers really helped in slipping in and tightening the chains back together. She was pretty angry at the time but we laughed it off after I managed to fix it. It would've been a rather unpleasant evening if it wasn't for my leatherman. and i don't have to buy her a new necklace too!! a very happy and relieved customer here!!
