Not a Day Without It!

My story is nothing special or unique; I am a licensed C7 installer. I drive from job site to job site with a van full of tools of all kinds - normal tools, specialty tools, and my Leatherman Wave on my hip. With all these tools at my disposal, I use my Wave for 75% of the tasks that I need to do in a days work. I crawl under a house to pull wire for that shiny new Plasma, I go with my Drill, Mag-Lite, Black Electrical tape and my Leatherman Wave. It keeps me from dragging a toolbox full of tools and allows me the flexibility of completing many an unforeseen task. Dead rat in the way - the pliers help move the carcass; need to strip wires back to help fish it through a wall - the blades come into use; need to hang the plasma on the wall with a mount - I add on the hex head tools to assemble the bracket. I use it so often that when it is not on my hip I miss it. I feel it is an extension to my right hand.

My story is not special, just true. I am on my third Wave. Wave number one I lost on the job site in a crawl space and bought Wave number two. I then promptly found Wave number one when I went back to the job site. My Father-in-law knew how much I loved my Wave and bought me the new style Wave when it first came out. I gave one of the first two Waves to my wife and put the other in our earthquake kit. I could not imagine not having it when I need it most.
