Tell Us Your Tale

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.

Fish Tale

Not exactly about fish but rather where they're raised. I was working in the Water Shed Department of the City of Allentown, PA. My partner and I were assigned the task of putting in a board as a temporary walkway at our fish hatchery. We took a board there after our boss told us the size we needed. (Said he measured it, we didn't need to.) After we got there and tried to put the board in place, it was about 3/8" too wide. Since it was supposed to fit, we didn't take a saw along. TA, DA! I got out my Leatherman and after measuring the proper width, I used the Leatherman saw to cut off the 3/8" too much.

It seems that I use my Leatherman at least three times a week for some project or other. Actually, I wore out the sheath and need to find a place to buy one. I haven't seen just sheaths alone, only with the Leatherman included. Thanks for a great product. Mine is about twenty years old and still works great!
