The Artist
The craft of world-renowned artist and silversmith Adrian Pallarols has been handed down for seven generations. From his workshop in Buenos Aires, Adrian creates silver jewelry, victory cups, and other custom-designed works of precious metals.
Many international stars collect the work of Adrian Pallarols, including Antonio Banderas, Juliette Binoche, and Pope Benedicto XVI. Most recently, he completed a gold and silver pen for the King of Spain.
When polo players need a prize, they turn to Adrian. In addition to restoring this 19th century U.S. Open Cup, he designed and made the Outback and Diamond Polo Cups.
Early Sketches
Inspiration for the Leatherman tools, including Charge® Acanto below, starts with pencil and paper. On paper, he can quickly explore and experiment with different designs.

Fire, Hammer and Chisel
Artistry such as Adrian’s comes from a lifetime of practice and seven generations of knowledge. After firing and shaping the handles, he begins crafting the silver and gold by gradually shaping them with several unique chisels. Watch Adrian’s concentration and skill in the video below.
The silver used for the Argentum Collection is 925 sterling silver from the Argentine Andes. The yellow gold is a strong and vibrant alloy designed to withstand the sands of time.
