Best Uses

    Comments about Style:

    Good:
    - The thing is quite small, shorter and narrower than a chapstick.
    - It has useful combination of tools, though the nail file will probably see little use.
    - It is all metal, so there is not much to scratch or show pocket wear. (The anodized aluminum is showing some wear from the other keys.)

    Bad:
    - The knife and scissors dull quickly.
    - The knife is so small that it is not easy to sharpen the curved portion, near the tip. (The scissors basically can't be sharpened.)
    - The nail "nick" you use to open the blade is so close to the pivot that it chews up your nail as it rotates out. A better way is to hold the blade in place with a thumbnail and swivel the rest of the knife. But moving the nail nick closer to the tip of the blade would have made it easier to use.
    - The tool is small but it could have been smaller with just a few minor design changes. For one thing, the blade guard gives the blade too much space. For another, the blade opens on the opposite side as the other tools, requiring a metal spacer to separate the two sides.
    - The all-metal construction is durable but it adds a fair amount of weight to your keychain.

But it is better than nothing. The Classic model Swiss army knife from Victorinox is a decent alternative; it will be flatter but wider than the Style. The plastic scales will be lighter but will scratch, though there is an aluminum version. In case it matters, the Style's blade is beveled only on the right side, Japanese style.
