Squirt in Name, Not in Toughness
I have had the Leatherman Squirt on my key chain since they first came out with it. It truly is a thing of beauty, mixing its practicality and design. However people don't understand that just because it's small, it doesn't stop the word Leatherman written down its side from standing for heavy duty strength.
My girlfriend had put this big steel ring on right before we went out. It was a bit of a tough fit but she managed to get it over the knuckle. However when she slipped and fell, her whole finger managed to start swelling up to the point where the ring started cutting off circulation. We were out so there really wasn't much we could do and were two seconds away from going to the emergency room to get it cut off when I busted out my Leatherman Squirt. Taking my pliers to the metal ring it quickly silenced the laughter as little by little it started gnawing through the metal like butter. In minutes the Leatherman had easily cut through the ring and freed her finger. Needless to say, job done!
