Lucky Tool to Have on Hand
I think I told Leatherman about this a few years back, but I did not send it to this site. I was spending some time with my friends from work near Philadelphia, and everyone decided to go to a Casino in nearby Atlantic City.
It sounded like a really great idea, but the previous night of rain and heavy fog kept the one car we had available from starting again. As luck would have it, there was no tool kit in the car either. TRIP CANCELLED. Then I remembered my trusty Leatherman Micra on my keychain and opened the distributor cap. After repairing a little hole I found in an air hose (with the Micra) and drying inside the cap and wires thoroughly, I managed to get the car sputtering until it warmed up, then everything ran fine. TRIP ON.
The day trip was made and my friends hit a $1200 and a $20,000 jackpot in one day. Just a fluke that would not have happened if it were not for the Micra.
My friend said I could have ANYTHING I wanted for Christmas. Since I already had most of the Leatherman tools, except the most expensive, he got me a WAVE for Christmas and of course I presented him with the GOLDEN MICRA, and then I got a replacement for me. It must be karma.
