Tool Tales

First of all, I would like to thank Leatherman Tool Group for their awesome warranty service. Recently, I sent my Original Super Tool in for warranty repair. On the tenth day, it came back in the mail. I was excited to pull out a brand new Super Tool 300. Thank you leatherman!

 

Now, to the story.  My younger brother, age nine, an avid inventor, technology man, and NOT a Leatherman guy, was inventing a new type of flashlight the day my new Leatherman came in the mail. He was using an electric motor (why?) and overcharged it. It started sparking. He had been holding it with his hand until this incident, and quickly dropped it. I wanted to see the motor and battery spark on each other. He, with all the fear in his nine year old heart, picked it up and inched it towords the battery. I quickly grabbed my Leatherman, and using the pliers held the motor against the battery. My Leatherman saved the day and enabled him to bring the invention to life!!
