Skeletool Heroics on the Side of the Road

I was driving home from work and about halfway home I notice my drivers side rear back panel had detached from the wheel well of my truck and was now flapping in the wind. It was still attached by two giants screws in the back, but it was dangerous and protruded into the next lane. I pulled over and jumped out of my truck. My hand instantly reached for my Skeletool I always carry with me, switched my flat for my philips and twisted away at the screws. Five minutes later I have my plastic panel in my trunk, dirt on my hands and the relief that I would get home in one piece. I wouldn't know what I would do I had didn't have my Skeletool on me.

Tell Us Your Tale

OK, you voyeur, you. Enough of reading other people's stories. It's time you told your own tale of gripping heroism or even just neat DIY'ism. We know there's a Shakespeare in you somewhere. Don't make us use the Steens to find it.
