Tell Us Your Tale

Can't Buy Enough

I've bought 3 Crunch Tools and I am about to buy a 4th. I've lost all 2 due to being in rush and leaving them under the hood of HMMWVs and what not. Found them both in the sand of Iraq after losing them but lost them again. Very useful tool.

During convoy runs in Iraq the trucks we were escorting were very ill-maintained and would always break down. My Crunch feature sped the road-side repair process up greatly. The truck owners (non-english speaking) loved the Crunch. I don't know what they were saying but they they had a smile on their face after using it to crimp, cut, splice, or fix just about any other unexpected failure.

On the 3rd Crunch, I took it apart to clean it and couldn't get it to stay back together. Then it was stolen (broken) before I could get it sent back to Leatherman. Thanks for a great tool!
