Long Live Leatherman

As a father of two adventurous little boys, my tools were always missing. Apparently, a screwdriver makes a great shovel. So I decided I needed a multi-tool. I went to my local sporting goods store and was overwhelmed by all of the different brands and styles available. I thought to myself, "What about that Leatherman brand?" I heard they were the best, but this particular store didn't carry them. So I went across the street to the giant hardware store and, sure enough, they had them. I picked up a "Blast" and was on my way. I was proud as a peacock and carried my new tool proudly.

It didn't take long for me to decide I had to have a "Wave". So I gave my "Blast" to my father, "Mr. Fix It". He accepted it proudly, but didn't carry it around with him....at first. Now, it never leaves his side. I couldn't be happier with my Wave. I work at the Texas Ranger Museum and use it constantly. Aside from that it has helped me with working on cars, fixing things around the house, camping, fishing, hiking, you name it. In addition to my Wave, I have also purchased a Micra and a Skeletool. Everybody that knows me knows how proud I am of my Leatherman arsenal to the point where they don't just ask to borrow my tool...they ask for my Leatherman.
