Locked Up AC Compressor

I was on my way to work, at about 5:30 a.m. Out in the middle of nowhere, and new to the area also, my AC compressor on my car locked up and was squealing and smoking the belt badly. All I had was my original Leatherman tool. I was able to loosen the bolts so I could take the belt off and continue on my way to work. I also had an alternator belt break on my truck in Atlanta, and used my Leatherman to loosen the alternator so I could put a new belt on.
