Defusing Danger
I am a US Army Bomb Disposal technician, formerly an infantryman and paratrooper. I owned a Swiss tool when I was a younger and slightly dumber grunt; it promptly broke my first week in Afghanistan. I took the sage advice of my squad leader and purchased "the only multi-tool worth a damn". I got my Super Tool 200 at the PX and have carried it since.
On days that it is not on my belt I find myself reaching for it and cursing my forgetfulness. My Super Tool has been with me through a lot of things. I have used it for every imaginable purpose from preparing a piece of metal for a spot weld to working on unexploded ordnance and preparing C4 charges to dispose of ordnance. Thank you Leatherman for making quality tools that stand up to long hard days in far away places.
