My Wave.... I somehow lost it!!! It would be 9 months later before a work collegue came up to me and asked..." is this yours"? It was found in the dirt in the car park, and after washing it, looked as good as it was when I first bought it! It sure was...and determined to not "LOSE IT" again, I decided that I would get my name engraved on it!  The stainless steel is very hard, and it took several engravers to have a go, before I found one that could actually engrave my name onto my WAVE. I NEVER go anywhere without it.

 

Here is a story that I still do not believe.  It is 4:55pm on a Friday, and I arrive home to find a card in the letterbox to pick up an item from the post office. I went to the post office, and was asked for ID!!! Darn it, I left my wallet at home, and as it was closing time I would miss out on my package!!! So I left the counter of the post office, and then remembered my Leatherman had my name engraved on it. I thought to myself..."I wonder...."  I took it out of the sheath, and said to the postal worker .... "This is my Leatherman with my name engraved on it!" He said..."Wow!!, you have a Wave!!  I have a Super Tool" and then said "OK, I accept that as valid ID" and I duly signed for, and collected my package!!! AMAZING! I have other stories, but this was remarkable!
