Just Keep Buying Leatherman

I have owned Leatherman multi tools since1998. I have a Wave in each car and a Super Tool in my work truck. I always carry a Wave on my belt when working  (I cut brush and string barbed wire during the summer months, hunt, fish and do odd jobs during the winter months). When out in public with friends or family I have a Blast and the LGX200 flashlight in a combo pouch my girl friend got for me from Costco for my birthday. My first original Wave had had so much use, it was in need of repair. It has been used to fix several car problems, cut barbed wire that had sprung back and wrapped around my leg, removed jammed bullet cases from faulty magazines, stripped wires, picked up hot items from a campfire, fix eyelets on my leather hunting boots and the list just goes on and on. My LGX200 flashlight would not turn on; I have used it in so many places that I have retired my 2 AA cell Magi lights. This little light puts out a much stronger beam up close and personal where I need it. I can hold it in my mouth when under my truck at night and my lips and teeth don't get tired of holding it.

So, since I had been buying so many of their tools, I thought I would try out their warranty. I sent them in. I was not expecting much for the Wave, except possibly a new blade replacing one that would no longer lock correctly and maybe a new screw driver head.  22 days later I opened up a package from Leatherman and found inside a new Leatherman Wave, of the more modern version, and a new flashlight. Also the Wave was in a new case. Now this is service. My girl friend asked me why I like Leatherman tools. I showed her the new tools and said, "They're like me; they take pride in their work, stand by their work, and work to keep my trust."  So thanks for great service and for such tools a man can spend his money on and really get more than his money's worth.
