Plum worn out!
While I have owned several Leatherman tools, I bought a Charge TTi when I first was hired at an explosives delivery and service company. For over five years I beat the poor thing to death. There was not a day that went by where it wasn't used and abused. I subjected it to some of the most corrosive substances we had, used it as a pry bar, an improvised step, even used it as a replacement chain pin to pull our semi up a steep grade (although there was also a bit of duct tape involved in that one), and of course, used the cap crimpers on every shot we ran. The poor file is worn smooth from all the use it has seen. I have kept the blades sharp, but they too have seen better days. I've broken or lost at least two full sets of bits, (five of the eyeglass screwdriver bit alone), but it is always there for whatever job I need call on it for, at work, home or at play. The poor thing is getting wobbly in the pliers and some of the parts are getting hard to open. It is plum worn out. But I still love it.
I was all ready to buy a straight up copy replacement, but sadly, I cannot. Not when I can get a MUT EOD. Wow! I never thought I would see a better knife than my trusty Charge TTi, but you guys have out done yourselves. I can hardly wait to see what you will have when I wear that out. Keep up the great work. I have said for many years, "If it doesn't say Leatherman on it, it is not going in my pocket."
