so being the owner of many multi tools (2 gerbers and two SOG powerlocks) I carried my gerber with me everywhere until I bought a Leatherman skeletool. I work at a summer camp and being around kids for 3 months I can't exactly pull out my Cold Steel Big folding knives and I couldn't find my gerber FLIK anywhere so i drove up to the local walmart (45 min away) just to try and find a repolacement tool and there sat the skeletool. (my gerber was in the engine bay of the jeep the entire time.)

Another example is that i work on cars as a side job and the skeletool was nice and all but it just wasn't getting the job done so the other day while i was under the hood of my truck my best friend pulls up and says he's got a suprise for me and pulls a leatherman surge out of his truck and hands it to me and says that I can have it because he never uses it and isn't much of a multi tool person and I would take better care of it. So covered in engine oil and transmition fulid i gave him the biggest bear hug ever. the surge hasn't left my side sense.
