I love my new Leatherman Wave. I was working at replacing receptacles and I and I needed something to cut 12 gauge wire (yes 12 gauge on a receptcle I come from a family of electricians). The cutters i had was too big and a bit dull and i needed as much wire as possible I went to the toolbox and looked to see what I needed and then remember I just got the leatherman wave a few days ago for my birthday. I was able to get very close to the plug and cut the wire, then I was able to open them to strip the wire and used the screwdriver attachments to put the new receptacle back into the wall. My next project was to put up an expandable door I got to cover the small room that houses our electrical panel. I was able to use the saw to cut the plastic track that holds the door in place. I also used the open to mark the wood to put the drill holes. Again I used the screwdriver attachments to sink the screws flush in to the wood after I would use a screwgun to start them. This tool already has saved me time and frustration. just in the saved trips to the tool boxes. I have always wanted a leatherman and I "cheaped" out. Of all the cheap imitations that I have had over the last 30 years (I'm 57) and broke I could have bought more than one leatherman. I love how everything fits in the case I have two sets of attachments for the screwdriver and everything fits. I grab my leatherman before my cell phone and sometimes i forgot the phone...
