Construction Workhorse
Father and son pair, working construction with an old Leatherman Supertool 200 and a Core (both still going strong - a testament in and of itself). A machine driver forgot the keys for his JCB backhoe loader, and we used our Leatherman Supertool pliers to start it - the pliers opens just wide enough to cross the ignition solenoid and turn the engine over.
The party trick, was showing off the strength of the Core's pliers and wire cutters by using them to cut discarded, bent nails. The knives cut roofing felt no problem and both the Supertool and the Core have been put to use performing automotive repairs, camping tasks and other everyday uses. Neither of us leave home without them.
