It was a decade ago when I received my first Mini Leatherman. A friend of mine use to work for a private security firm at the airport before TSA took over. As we all know it is policy to relieve all air travelers of anything that could be used to jeopardize the safety of passengers and crew. He brought the tool to me as a house warming gift after he rescued it from the unclaimed items bin. From previously being in the military I had known the tough, reliable reputation of the regular size Leatherman tools for awhile now, but could not ever imagine owning a mini tool. My first thought was "when in the heck am I ever going to use this thing". Over the years it found its way into my front pocket and there it has remained. I have found more and more uses for my mini as time has gone by. A few years back I replaced the first one with a brand new store bought mini squirt P4. As expected the tool saved my butt on many occasions so this year when the blade on the knife broke unexpectedly I started to go into withdrawals from not having the P4 on me when I needed it the most. I took advantage of the Leatherman 25 year warranty and shipped it off for repair. It broke my heart to hear back a week or so later that the P4 had been retired & could not be repaired but your company was nice enough to honor your warranty pledge by replacing it with the new PS4. I LOVE IT!!!! You have definitely made a customer for life! I plan to hand them out as gifts during the holiday season this year. Thank you
