I got a phone call today, telling me, that our boat is in a risk of sinking. We had our boat tied to the big boat next to us on the winter season. The big boats water pump had failed and there were only about 2 inches from the water to the deck. So I walked to our boat on ice and cut of the frozen ropes with my Super Tool 300's serrated blade, it was not easy, because they were frozen with saltwater... But, it did the job done, but again; the bits from the ropes were also frozen stuck on the boats tie downs, took out the pliers on the ST 300 and worked them out and put on some new ropes. So, I went to the big boat and installed 2 new water pumps. I used my Led Lenser P7 on the engine room, where I installed the first pump. The hose were also frozen, I cut it off also, again with the serrated blade. The day and 3 boats in total were saved today with use of great tools from Leatherman and Led Lenser. Our boat is on the right side of the photo with a tender on the back. You can see the left side on the big red wooden boat how high the water level is. It was a close call! Few more reasons to carry Leatherman and Led Lenser gear at all time! Sincerely,
