Leatherman Steers Us Straight
In 2002, during an army cadet field training exercise, one of the officers commented that the steering wheel on her car was shaking severely when she arrived at the exercise site. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the nut holding the steering wheel on the shaft was about to fall off, literally holding on by the last thread on the shaft. I grabbed my Wave tool and secured the nut. The officer was able to return home with the vehicle and had the nut properly torqued at a garage. I have the new Wave and the tool bit kit for it and it goes everywhere I go.
