Hey, guys. Just wanted to tell you I've been using your products for the last ten years and will never stop. I bought my first Pocket Survival Tool when I joined the Air Force. After a few weeks of my new job as a firefighter, it became obvious I needed something to help out with all the little unexpected things that pop up in the station every day. My pocket survival tool performed admirably, and even helped save an aircraft from potentially crashing when we needed to cut an improperly tied down jet bungee from the runway; I was the ONLY person who had a knife with me! That little tool helped make me look good in front of the higher-ups; which made it worth every penny.

Eventually my PST was stolen by a co-worker. I bought a Gerber to replace it, and liked the ergonomics better, but disliked the fact that it was far less rust resistant. Eventually the Gerber was stolen, too. I replaced it with one of the newer Chinese Schrade Tough Tools, but eventually longed for something tougher. Finally, I bought a Supertool 300. I can't tell you how much I loved that tool. With it's longer tools, heavier pliers, and replaceable, nearly unbreakable cutters, it is the absolute best Leatherman product out there in my opinion. I even used it to cut fence. Every other multi-tool I've owned always choked up on fence; it was just too hard and usually bent the cutters. The 300 took it like a champ and showed no signs of damage at all. It even came in black, which just looks so cool! I use it nearly every day. Unfortunately, the 300 was stolen as well. It seems like if I don't keep my multi-tools on me at all times, they grow legs and dissapear. I'm back to using the Schrade for now, but when I get a few bucks saved up I plan on getting another 300. It is just unbeatable.

 

If you guys ever do a 400, the only improvements I see that can be made are to make the tools able to fold out without unfolding the pliers, and adding a pair of scissors. Now that would be a completely unbeatable tool; you'd never need to make a 500! Anyway, I love your stuff and reccomend the 300 to everyone I know. The only problem with your products is they are too cool and people can't seem to help themselves from taking them! : P Thanks for leading the way and putting so much though into your products. The PST was a great first product, but you guys have clearly come a LONG way since then and made the original concept even better. I appreciate it!
