Hi, I bought a Leatherman Wave at an American PX in Kuwait prior to deployment in Iraq with the British Army in 2007. The tool served me well throughout the tour and certainly helped in a whole 'variety' of scenarios. The tool followed me home and then served me well through another four years of military and Police service. Again proving it's durability and worth in all manner of situations. Then I let my Girlfriend borrow it. And through some form of female super strength snapped the scissors on the tool. So a tool that was a workhorse from war zone to front line Policing in the UK was defeated by my Girlfriend cutting some wrapping paper (I think, well I might be making that part up). I was gutted! Then to my salvation I decided to email your UK repair/warranty facility. I sent off the tool and within 7 days got a brand new one back. Sure there was some sentimental attachment with the other one but heck!  What a level of customer service that is. Once more a happy Leatherman customer. Cheers guys!
