My first Leatherman was a gift from my best friend when he joined the Air Force back in '93. I had owned it for 6 years. I was working for a liquid bulk transportation company at the time. One day a fellow worker set an ISO tank on my Leatherman. I didn't know to cry or beat the living mess out of that guy. Even though it was still working it was tweaked a bit. I told my best friend about it and he said send it back to Leatherman and they will take care of it. I did and I was very shocked. About a week later the mail man brought me a new latest and greatest Leatherman free of charge. I was shocked it was replaced with no questions asked.

I now own four Super Tools. One in each vehicle and one on my side at all times. I'm now a service technician for an industrial heating company. On a service call I tote my usual bag of tools. But I have many customers comment that I grab my Leatherman many times before I get anything out of my bag. I'm quick to explain that once you own a Leatherman it becomes part of you.
