Just Messing About in (Very Old) Boats - or How to Buy Three!
I've owned and sailed wooden sailing boats for forty years now. Tradition requires the crew of an old boat to carry a marlin spike and a blunt ended sheath knife known as a riggers' knife. I still have the Leatherman Super Tool that I bought 20 years ago. I discovered within days that it does everything needed on a boat, rather better than the traditional implements.
I don't have the Wave that I bought ten years ago because I took to wearing it on my belt all day every day...you will know the rest of this story - I walked through an airport boarding gate with it on; it was confiscated and now someone else has it. This must work wonders for Leatherman sales! Its replacement is even better.
