This weekend, my father and I were four wheeling through the snow from a late spring snow storm. It was raining the entire trip and about 25 degrees Fahrenheit, so it was a cold trip. My dad was leading the way, when suddenly his four wheeler just sunk right into three feet of snow. He had driven over a natural spring, so the fourwheeler was stuck in about a foot of slushy water, with another two feet of snow on top of that. The only rope we had was in his four wheeler, and it had gotten wet from the water seeping into the bag. It was a really old, thick piece of rope with some big knots in it that weren't coming out. My dad forgot his Leatherman, but luckily for him I had my SUPER TOOL 300.

I was able to get the serrated blade out of the tool without taking my gloves off or getting my hands wet and cut the rope, so we could pull his four wheeler out. If it weren't for the innovative cutouts Leatherman put into the tool, I probably would of nearly frozen my fingers off on the ride back. This goes to show how the many features you find on a true Leatherman tool make them stand out from any other multi-tool out there. The little things really do matter.
