I purchased a Leatherman years ago. It became one of my tools of choice. When I broke the pliers on a really tough job, I sent the tool back to Leatherman. The tool was replaced and I used it for several more years. The pliers broke again and this time I thought that there was a defect in the steel. UPS lost my prized tool and had Leatherman send me a new one...a Super Tool 200.

This tool became a trademark for me and all my co-workers are familiar with my prowess in using the tool. I use the bit connector to extend the ways it can be used. I had to turn it over to the government this morning because I wore it all the way up to the security section of an airport boarding area. It was my fault and I had no choice but to give it up for auction.

 

The Leatherman brand has been a part of my life for nearly twenty years and I will have to get another one, very soon! The Leatherman Super Tool 300 will most likely be an excellent replacement!
