15 years ago my new father in law gave me a Leatherman Micra. Since then I have carried it with me everywhere I go. It quickly became my favorite pocket knife and found its way into all kinds of situations. I've used it for everything from trimming my nails to gutting small game. My daughters and wife expect it to be with me 24/7 and frequently ask for "the little tool."

Yesterday, July 4th 2012, I went to Robert Treman state park in NY and had a great old fashioned Fourth of July with 20 of our friends. Swimming, cooking out, etc. During my swimming or jumping off the high dive at the park I lost my Micra! I did try to look for it under water, but the water is cloudy and the swimming area is way too large for me to determine where it was lost. I'm sad, but a bit happy as the blade was getting pretty worn from sharpening it over the last 15 years so I'll end up with a new Micra before too long I'm sure.

 

You make some fine tools that become part of the family..I feel like I'm missing an important part of my wardrobe! Thanks!
