Great Christmas Gifts

In the fall of 1996 I purchased "the Leatherman Super Tool" with the help of several fellow employees at Sasktel in Prince Albert. At that time the only dealer was in Calgary Alberta, so all of us on the crew ordered - fourteen in total. We were really surprised to see the order come to Prince Albert in less than a week.

I still have my original (which I sent back for warranty last week). Several weeks after I purchased the first one, I bought my second Leatherman Super Tool which I carry when my family and I go anywhere. WHAT GOES BETTER WITH A SUITE AND TIE? My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I fixed fuses on vehicles, repair farm machinery, remove snap rings on hydraulic cylinders, sealed bearings on other farm machinery, repair telephones, cut drywall for wire installations, even repaired a wedding ring.

Since then I have purchased several different models of Leatherman tools (4-6 tools: Super Tool 200, Wave, Pulse, etc) for family members as Christmas gifts. The last was a Super Tool 200 for my son, who is an electrical engineer in Edmonton, Alberta. But I still like my original Leatherman the best, my real pride and joy---best tool ever.
