Inspired by the Tour

I always dreamed of visiting the Leatherman Plant ever since I purchased a PST in 1985. Later, I bought a Wave because the PST was so good.

During a recent visit to the Leatherman Retail Store on April 10, 2008 I bought a c308. How did it dawn on me to visit? Just a little sign on Airport Way saying “Leatherman Weekly Specials.” I made a turn and paid a visit. I set a date to tour the factory on April 11th. Great tour! The guide remembered my name in the end and I even got a photo with her.

When I returned to Brooklyn the Wave met the challenge. I knew if Tim Leatherman could fix a FIAT with his tool, making our new refrigerator from a right hand model to a left hand model would be easy. My wife couldn’t believe it all got done with one tool. It does a lot, thank you. I keep one at work and one at home.
