Leatherman Gets the Job Done & Brings Excitement

I was just a college student who had a Leatherman Blast. One day, a friend of mine called me to help him move into his new apartment. I went there to help him with just my Leatherman Blast on my belt and nothing else. Needless to say, I pulled out my Leatherman to do my job. I used the blade to cut open the boxes, the wire cutter to cut the zip ties for his cables and wires, and the screwdrivers to re-assemble his furniture. Then I saw my friend folding a paper and I asked him "what for?” He said one of the legs of his table is uneven and the table rattled. He was trying to insert the paper between the table leg and the floor. I said, "Don't worry about it". I went down to my car, pulled out the saw from my Leatherman, and cut about a 1/4" thick piece of 1"x1" wood stick that I have in my car trunk. I came back to his room and super glued it to the bottom of his table leg. His table was then even and stable. My friend and I went out to grab lunch and a pack of beers; I used the bottle opener from my Leatherman.

My friend was so impressed by the capabilities of my Leatherman which I used for every task that I encountered at his moving. I ended up giving away my Blast to that friend, who wanted one so badly after seeing me use it. The excitement on my friend's face was priceless. I purchased a Leatherman Surge the next day to replace my Blast.
