The Loyal PST
I am just writing to tell you about my dad and his Leatherman PST.
He got it the third year the PST came out and hasn't gone a day without it since. He used it for everything, from mending fences to stirring the chili when we had chili dogs. I am 14 and I decided I should get a Leatherman. I went for it all and got the Charge TTi with the bit kit and everything. Everything works perfectly on it and my dad was jealous.
He wanted to get a new one (but more traditional style), but he just couldn't get rid of his PST. I saw a Leatherman Core with a Leatherman knife at Costco and with a coupon; the whole thing only cost $40. I knew the Core was normally $60 by itself so I bought him it as an early Christmas present. He loved it as soon as he got it. Stronger pliers, sharper blades, and even a serrated blade. I asked him if he would give it up for his old PST. He didn't even think about it and said yes. He did say though that he would leave his PST up at our cabin for hunting trips and just working on our cabin.
I also just want Leatherman to know they have a young loyal customer. I am going to get either a Freestyle CX or Skeletool so I have a lighter every day carry tool. I am also looking at one of the knives.
Thanks for everything.
