Roof Repair Help

I built a bedroom out on our deck for my daughter and her fiancée, but had problems with leaks in the wavy plastic roof right away. The Leatherman tool helped me in putting up and taking down a tarp numerous times until we finally got the leaks fixed. It was great for untying parachute cord knots using the needle nose pliers and cutting the cord when I needed to work fast.



To keep it from slipping out of my hand and dropping off the roof, I took a piece of cord and enclosed it within the needlenose pliers before closing the unit. I secured the cord to a carabiner on my safety harness. That way, I could work without worrying that the unit would slip out of my hands and wind up somewhere in the back yard. Finally, I think the tool is great for hanging things but would wish for a couple of drills that would fit #6 and #8 square drive screws. That way, if I need to make a pilot hole, I could plug in the drills to the bit holder, turn a few times and have the pilot hole without needing to go downstairs, get my drill, find a bit, get the extension cord etc. etc. Why not make a bit kit that included those drill sizes to make pilot holes for those of us hanging pictures etc. It is a VERY common task around the house I can assure you. Thanks for the cool tool. I have owned three Waves, since given as gifts to friends and currently own a surge.
