I have carried my Wave tool with me everyday for the last 3 years, every place and any place, without getting in trouble. I'm a mechanic in coastal South Carolina where everyone loves fishing as do I.

 

I was fishing from a dock at high tide and when trying to remove a hook I dropped my Leatherman in the water. I was a little mad when it happened so I went ASAP ( that night) to the hardware store and bought a new one (June 09). On the 15th of Jan 2010 I was at the same dock at a very low tide, thinking that it wouldn't be there. I looked anyway and after a few minutes there it was. I was able to reach it thinking it was going to be junk when I got it. I opened everything on the tool up and it opened like it was just out of the box. About 8 months in salt water and other than the screwdriver bit being gone everything else is great. Thanks for a great tool I will never use anything else.
