"I do landscaping and bought these for general use. Work great for landscape fabric, tubing, twine and prining small growth. Leatherman needs to design the same folding design with the curved pruning shears to cut up to 3/4"-1" branches. Jist change the blade design and you open up to a whole new market. Do it. Leave the glass breaker because you never know. Instead of the fold out seat belt cutter, make it the flared flat head screwdriver tool for adjusting most rotary sprinkler heads. Also, make it stainless steel. Do it. We dont want fancy looking fixed blade knives. Make practical and convenient tools."

"Wanted a cutting tool that was compact, durable and could be carried attached to MOLLE equipment while on small boats. These shears meet all my requirements. Can never be too prepared

"After making an emergency kit 15 years ago, I thought it was time to refresh things. I put together a class B first aid/trauma kit for home/on the go and thought it was essential to have the right tool just in case. I've seen a lot of generic versions but have had a good experience with prior Leatherman tools and decided to get an official Raptor Rescue. The tool is very intuitive. The glass breaker, with the seatbelt cutter are a plus as I intended on having this with me especially on road trips. I have not done the coin test. I chose the case that works with a molle system. I paired this with the 511 UCR Sling Pack and have it positioned in the back pocket connected to the internal strap. This is also where I keep one of my Waves. It also allows me to quick swap to other bags I have with molle."

It’s Already Broke!

"Certified Law Enforcement Officer here. Shipping was fast. Packaging was superb. First thought out of the box was this tool feels better than the ones from Amazon. Within the first two weeks the strap cutter broke trying to cut a seatbelt. Luckily my parter had another cutter. After the incident was over I looked at the strap cutter. It snapped at the bend and I seen the cheap metal wrapped in chromium. I’ve never been so disappointed. I guess Leatherman falls in line with the other companies cutting corners for profit. Advertising to First Responders is wild. Luckily my partner had a strap cutter as well. I shipped it back to the warranty location for repair."

"This is my second pair, first pair I still have from o/a 2018, no issues at all. Unfortunately the ripper attachment on this one snapped within 2 weeks. Still can use the rest; however, disappointing."

Great BUT some obvious improvements

"Shears are top notch, and the pull cutter, O2 wrench, and glass breaker are a great plus. My issue with them is the steel choice. If you’re actually going to run these with the clip in your pocket and not in the case they are going to rust (unless you live in a cool dry area). A streamline version that doesn’t fold would be super cool too."

"The product is well made and for a trauma shear it with serve anyone for a long time. My only complaint is the main screw that holds the shears is loose. It wobbles a bit, presently. I need to findout what bit to use now and some Loctite to tighten things up to prevent future loose screw and wobbles."

Fire fighter nephew deserves a great gift!

"My nephew is graduating from a fire fighting EMT academy soon and will do so as the top of his class. In addition to the hard work and dedication, he has developed a set of skills that may save lives. He deserves a quality pair of customized paramedic shears. The quality of my delivery blew my mind and exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to gift these to him at his graduation. I’ll tell him, when he uses them, it will be stressful and possibly really gnarly.
