Grant Program

Our mission at Leatherman is to equip people to solve problems, both big and small. With that in mind, the Leatherman Grant program exists to unleash world-bettering potential. For 2019, we awarded eleven global non-profits with a grant to help fund their efforts to pave the way for change through innovative ideas and solutions.

Missoula Urban Demonstration Project (MUD) promotes urban sustainable living through hands-on learning, resource sharing, and community engagement.

Peripheral Vision International creates media to promote eduction on health, livelihoods, and citizenship for marginalized populations in East Africa.

K9s For Warriors provides Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Military Sexual Trauma.

The Wildwoods Foundation’s mission is to teach and equip families and educators of Los Angeles to build community by exploring nature.

Plastic Bank provides a socially ethical solution to ocean plastic by processing plastic waste that creates economic opportunities in disenfranchised communities.
