The Leatherman MUT is not only a practical tool but can also maintain military gear by utilizing a bronze carbon scraper, disassembly punch and bolt override tool. Features multiple areas for attaching threaded cleaning rods and brushes as well as on-board standard screwdriver and Torx bits for anything from adjustment work to gear breakdown. Other tools include pliers, a 420HC combo knife, saw, hammer and more. Comes standard with a MOLLE sheath and scope adjustment tool.

"This thing has never missed a beat in my last six years in the Usmc, It is goated for what you get for the price, and you can clean weapons like no other with this, Bronze pick is the cherry on top for stubborn carbon, also best set of pliers ive used for heavy equipment wiring harnesses, also to add, the customer service backed with this is amazing, I have broken mine 3 times and it was fixed no questions asked and at no cost 100/10 in customer service"

"I bought this tool to live in my competition/"battle" belt. I'm sure it will work fine and last. However, not four stars cause the pliers are ridiculously stiff. Not a big deal considering the role this multitool will play but still. The ARC is still the king for EDC multitool."

"it is a good multi tool but the holder for the bits doesn't really work. the brown slide in holder on the knife and saw side of the multi tool will warp and spit out the tool bit if the tool/pliers are opened, like it doesn't even fit the bits it comes with, you can see it warped in my picture"

Not The original quality

"Buying this one second time. First one was stolen from me many years ago. The clip is made from cheaper materials Fit and finish out of the box is way too tight. Surface on jaws is not crisp like in first models. It good but not the same. Jaws made cheaper . Price of tool is higher. If idea was to have a dull teeth on a jaw so that no one can claim that they are dull in future. Well done. Tool is better refined . But some mechanisms so stiff . You need another tool to get them open. Just like brass cleaning tool. Great tool. But needs to be opened by other tool why? Well quality of indent to get a grip and open it is so poor that there is no crisp edge to gain a grip. It’s all rounded over . Nothing Dramel tool can’t fix. Wait why am I fixing grand new tool that I payed premium to get . Thanks for veteran discount. In summary. Tool seen little bit of improvement over years. How ever some good features or parts were replaced with cheaper alternatives. Making tool cheaper to make yet reducing quality. Fit and finish is bad. Did I mention price only increased? Tool is tough and can be worn in or you can loosen screws . Get a fresh locktight and re tension tools to your heart content. Yet I get a feeling that you got this tool directly from manufacturer who is famous for its quality, reliability and innovative ingenuity . Just so you don’t have to do all the things I’ve mentioned. I do some mechanical work from time to time. I know that my grip strength is pretty much above average. If I can’t get your tools opened or closed without pry bar. Most other customers won’t. I’ve recently had chance to hold in my hands Chinese clone of your WAVE line of tools. Oh yeah it was flimsy. However, right out of the box . Every part of this tool was smooth and easy to operate. Every sharp corner where it needs to be sharp and crisp was crisp and sharp. Every surface that didn’t need to be crisp and sharp was polished and pleasant to hold in my hands… it’s not something Leatherman is about anymore. And it makes me sad. Hope this was just one off experience and no one else gets tool that has been put together as bad as mine. We can all hope."
