Refund policy
30-Day Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return policy on purchases. We will refund the total of the items returned in your order, less shipping costs each way. If your return is due to an error on our part, Leatherman will refund the original shipping cost and provide you with a prepaid return label to make the process easy for you.
Items should be returned in the original product packaging with the packing slip included.
*Excludes items listed as Final Sale. Final Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Customized or engraved items are not subject to return or exchange. Once an order for a custom or engraved item is received, it cannot be cancelled.
To Request a Return
Please follow these steps:
- Log in to your account using the same email you used when placing the order.
- Navigate to your Order History.
- Click to open the order you wish to return.
- Click the "Return" button and fill out the reason for the return.
Please note that returns can only be requested after the order has been fulfilled. If your order has not been shipped yet (you have not received a shipping notification from us), please contact Customer Service to cancel the order.
Apparel Returns
Apparel returns will only be accepted if they do not show any signs of use or damage. They must be in re-sellable condition: unworn, unused, unwashed and in the original packaging with all original tags attached.

Return Exceptions
Final Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Leatherman custom product is built just for you and cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you need help, please call Customer Service: 800-847-8665. Be sure to have the order information and the name of the original purchaser of the order ready to provide to the customer service representative over the phone.
Order Cancellations
Cancel your order within 2 hours using the Cancel button on the Order Confirmation or Order Status page in your account.
After 2 hours, the Cancel button will no longer be available—please call Customer Service to check if cancellation is still possible.
