"This extention does NOT hold hex bits nicely. It does work but the bit sits so deep in there that its impossible to remove without taking the extension off and using your pliers to pull the bit out and put a different one in. I'm telling you its horrible for using regular hex bits. Might work OK with leatherman bits; but I found those hard to get out of the plastic bit holder, and when you want to change bits the extension still pulls off before the bit comes out."

Useful but ordered it without fully reading

"When I read about this peice, which fits nicely in the Wave+ holster very snugly, I did not read the spec sheet thoroughly, due to no fault of its own. Therefore when I received it in the mail, I was disappointed to find out that the 1/4 bit holder would not work on my Wave +. But the bits (8 fittings) work fine, therefore I can still use it. If I want to force the square hole of the bit holder, I can use by/4” bits that way, otherwise, I’ll prolly buy the correct leatherman for it, or continue to buy bit holders for mine."
