Our tools are built to last, but if anything happens, your Leatherman is backed by our 25-year limited warranty. Our warranty is simple, submit the online form and then send us your tool. After you send your tool to the address on the packing slip, your tool will be collected and forwarded to US for repair/replacement.
You may continue your warranty claim on this page if you reside in Canada.

If you are outside North America, please contact your local distributor.
The Leatherman Warranty covers only the original/primary owner and does not cover abuse, alteration, theft, loss, or unauthorized and/or unreasonable use of Leatherman products. This Warranty covers tools purchased for personal use only and does not cover commercial accounts or bulk purchases with the intent to resell repaired or refurbished tools.
This warranty does not cover accessories, sheaths (exception: Ainsworth Sheath is covered by a 2-year warranty), imprinting, color finishes, cleaning, or sharpening. Any of the aforementioned will not be returned to sender with the exception of the Ainsworth Sheath.
Leatherman apparel and soft goods are not covered by our 25-year warranty.
Be sure to choose an insured and trackable delivery service as Leatherman is not responsible for products that do not arrive in the mail. Please retain your shipment tracking information until we confirm receipt of your warranty product. This warranty covers products purchased through an authorized dealer and proof of purchase from an authorized dealer may be required.
Leatherman Tool Group is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

SKELETOOL AND SKELETOOL CX
We have made a running change to the knife blades on the Skeletool and Skeletool CX multi-purpose tools. If you turn one of these tools in for warranty you may receive the new configuration for repair/replacement. The blade material has not been changed on either model, but the cutting edge has been changed to the following:
Skeletool: (ORIGINAL) straight-edge blade (NEW) combo straight/serrated edge
Skeletool CX: (ORIGINAL) combo straight/serrated edge (NEW) straight-edge blade

Repair & Replace Process
1) SUBMIT YOUR FORM
Select “Repair or Replace” as your warranty option and complete the online form.
2) SEND US YOUR PRODUCT
Use an insured and trackable delivery service to ship your product to us. More instructions will be provided when you complete the online form.
3) REPAIRED OR REPLACED
We’ll ship it back to you when it’s repaired. If we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with a comparable refurbished model, unless you’ve specified otherwise in your form.
