Great Camping Tool

"This is a handy little tool, great for handling small jobs while camping or hiking. I like that the blade is easily opened with just one hand and I love that it has an integrated sharpener and bit driver. My main nitpicks are that the belt clip is pretty loose and the tools inside the handles are kinda difficult to deploy as someone with short fingernails. Having used both, I think I personally prefer the Supertool overall, but the Signal has it's place on my belt as a lighter option."

Go for the pink one

"Just came home from my first backpacking trip with the pink signal, which I ordered with the free orange bag. First I highly recommend getting the pink one -- easy to find in a bag in low light and no one mistakes it for theirs. I used the knife to cut salami and the saw to remove sharp little branch bits from a tree up against my tent site, so I wouldn't stab myself if I got up at night. The fire starter requires a LOT of force to make a spark, so bring a lighter or waterproof matches if you have room. The hammer is not good for tent stakes because it can slip off to the side and you scrape your hand on the stake. Better to find a rock. Overall I was glad to have this tool with me and its build quality is high."

"Leatherman quality and ingenuity throughout. Test the striker before you need to build a fire. Mine did not not spark easily. I would suggest carrying a magnesium starter and ferrorod."
