Broken in less than 30 days

"I was soooooo excited to have my first customized leatherman. I shopped around for a while and then finally decided on the wave alpha. Used the serrated blade once and it snapped in half. Very sad and disappointed with the quality of this product."

Wave Alpha

"Great tool altogether, I have a couple of leathermans and switch them out day to day working on the farm. The wave is an absolute standout. Razor sharp and super durable magna cut blade. Very comfortable to use with the new design. It’s a little expensive but it’s a lifelong product for sure!"

"Some things about it are iffy. The pocket clip is loose. The blade has play in it and the whole thing just feels thrown together. Im thinking about buying a signal and switching out the blades. I like the scissors but they dont lock in everytime you open them. I DO NOT NEED THE EYE GLASS BIT. Put something else more usefull there, like a gut hook maybe, or a pry bar, or a ferro rod there. It is on the heavy side for the lightweight people."

My wave plus is better

"Out of the box it’s heavier, bulkier, you have to buy a pocket clip or sheath to go with it. Should come with at least a sheath with the 200 dollar price tag. The weight and bulk are not worth the scissors. All tools were very hard to access out of box, had to oil and work work work to loosen it up. It’s an ok knife, but my wave plus is better"

Wave Alpha is awesome!

"Nope, I’ve owned the original Leatherman tool since the mid 80’s, used it daily in the Army and Air Marshal Service for decades. The “Wave Alpha” is not and will never be its equivalent, the only exception would be the replacement wire cutters. Absolutely no comparison whatsoever, corporate America has failed again. 🇺🇸🍻"

My first Leatherman!

"Did a lot of research between Axis and Alpha. For my use case, the alpha made more sense. Bought with bit driver/extra bits and have been using it regularly. Works as designed! Tools work very well together. I’m enjoying the alpha very much. The topographic handle is another nice feature. Scissors are great! Yes, a bit expensive but, it’s worth it IMO."

Great tool

"It’s a great tool according to my husband. I got it for him for his birthday. My only gripe is that I ordered it and received it nearly 15 days later. That’s pretty slow processing and shipping and needless to say, he got his birthday present a week late."
