20 Years

"I've carried the same original Leatherman Wave almost every day for 20 years. I used it daily while driving a forklift in a lumber yard. I still use it daily while working in IT. I want a new Wave Plus for the bit driver, but I can't justify replacing a perfectly good tool for one feature."

First Leatherman

"I've had a few multitools for EDC and tasks. This Wave + is everything I need on a daily basis and sometimes I don't even carry my knife on certain days because of this blade. Cut myself on the fifth use so I guess she's here to stay. Mine was customized for Father's Day and the best one yet because of this."

Leatherman WAVE +

"In December 2005 I got my very first leatherman multi tool it was the kick model I carried it constantly every day from December 2005 until January 2013 when I upgraded to the Leatherman wingman and I carried it constantly everyday from January 2013 until September of 2024 when I updated to the Leatherman wave plus multi tool I am always finding use constantly from April through end of October during our camping season I always find myself reaching for my Leatherman to do something doesn’t matter if it’s open up a box or really difficult package. I have used it when out mowing or using the trimmer to get things unstuck that get caught. I would definitely recommend the Leatherman brand to anyone who wants a great multi tool no matter what leatherman model they purchase. The 25 year warranty is also awesome. I’ve only used it once in my 21 years of being a Leatherman owner and user."

Best Leatherman ever the Wave

"I have owned Leatherman tools for over thirty years. The early ones were relatively inexpensive—something that has unfortunately changed over the years. Even so, it is the best tool I own, and I use it almost every day. I never leave the house without my Leatherman; when I fly somewhere with only carry-on luggage, I mail it to my destination ahead of time and have it sent back afterward. I used to buy and give away a lot of Micras, but unfortunately, they have become too expensive. I can understand that to some extent, though, as both material and labor costs have risen. I also bought a Leatherman Charge years ago for $120. For many years, it was my companion on the job—first as a truck driver and later in building maintenance. It is durable and incredibly versatile."
