Great tool, terrible finish

"The tool has been handy, the quick release great but the talos finish is terrible. Litterally started coming off on day one. Get the stainless one instead. Also had to exchange the original one I ordered because the blade had a huge scratch out of the box. The customer service is also sub par, waiting days for replies on my emails. Having to call in myself for resolutions. Being hung up on. Not a great experience at all."

Useful when it works

"Bought this brand new in stores a couple weeks ago. Been using this daily since. Decided to finally test out the crimp today May 1st, 2026 and it jammed. Not convenient at all and definitely did not expect this from a top of the line Leatherman."

"Great American made tool. I'm a 25 year I. B. E. W local 11 Union Electrician this tool is high quality and very useful. Light weight with great utility. I have a Surge as well but this replaces my expensive pocket knife. If you are on the fence just go for it you will be glad you did."

Leatherman Arc

"Coming from three previous LM. rev, sidekick and skeletool. This is by far the best. Wish I had kept up with leathermans previous releases. I do however wish the arc had a serrated blade vs the file or awl. The arc is actually a very comfortable tool to use."

Great but not perfect

"The arc itself is great, my only issue is the clip broke after a week or so. I read it is a common issue because of how thin the opening is for it. Not a deal-breaker but it is something to be aware of. My other issue would just be that it used to come with the pouch and extra bits but now that has to be bought separately. The value therefore dropped but overall again I am happy with my purchase."

Worth every penny

"When the wave alpha dropped, I was like, "finally an update to my wave," and it's a fine tool. . . BUT when I got my hands on the arc I can never go back. Being able to one hand everything and access the small tools without opening it up is brilliant. The magnets and locks for opening and locking into the pliers mode are absolutely fantastic and the change in overall shape prevents the classic hand points pinching."
