Disappointed

"Tool doesn't have spring on plyers. . I contacted you asking about that you didn't even reply ,I had to go look it up for my self. Also it has no way to attach a lanyard like the sidekick. I have bought 6 sidekicks as gifts and for myself. I wanted to have a pair of scissors on my Leatherman I was disappointed that the plyers did not have a spring on it. And there is no lanyard ring on the wave + since and I paid more for it."

Almost perfect

"I've been the happy owner of a Wave for more than 25 years. Recently I purchased one to give as a gift and to my surprise the combined bit that comes with it has a #1 Philips tip instead of the #2 the one I own has. I don't know the reason for the change since #2 is more common and much more useful to have. Besides that, the tool is the best you can find. I call it my toolbox for obvious reasons!"

2nd Wave, couldn't be better

"Recieved a Wave Plus after sending my Wave in for warranty having absolutely abused it for almost a decade. Support team were absolutely fantastic, process was easy - thought it finally time to leave a review. I keep it with the pocket clip on me at all times and use it daily, whether that be at work or just around the house opening packages, cutting apples. I work in event production as a lighting and sound tech and having this on me has saved so many shows and gotten me out of tough situations hundreds of times. Wouldn't carry a multitool from anybody else, I know it will just work when I need it and that is what matters."

I was disappointed

"I ordered a customized Wave Plus as a graduation gift. Deliver and shipment went well however the quality appears to be a used multitool. There are a few smudges on both sides . See attached photos. And the closing for the pliers locks up. It’s not as smooth as it should be. I had high expectations for the letterman tool but it just did not meet the quality standard."

Wouldn't be without it!

"I use my Wave Leatherman muliple times a day. I carry it with me at all times, except for recently when I sent it back to Leatherman. It wasn't broken but after over a decade of use the serrated knife was getting too dull to use. They fixed it up at no charge and sent it back to me in good shape. Now I'm back to carrying it with me at all times."

Wave plus, Laser Etching, Ratchet

"Very useful tool. Laser Engraving was about 95% accurate. Overall very happy with the product. Only issue I had was very slow customer service communication. It took about 1. 5 months of back and forth to get 2 images approved for Laser etching. The previous versions was not allowed because it depicted a eagle flying in hot carrying a machine gun and an anchor in the background. All the custom work on mine cost me alot but I was able to get the First Responder discount whicb was great and lowered the total price so I ended up getting an auto ratchet with it. Overall I am very pleased with the build quality and the custom artwork I added on mine. Shipping was about normal and it was free so another thing I greatly appreciated."
